Notice of Public Hearing: Proposed Monthly Increase to Water Bill

The Board of Directors of the Juniper Riviera County Water District invites all community members to participate in a public hearing regarding a proposed monthly increase to water bill. The hearing is scheduled for Thursday, December 18, 2025, at 6:00 PM during the Board's regularly held meeting. The meeting will take place at the district office, located at 25715 Santa Rosa Rd., Apple Valley, CA 92308.

 

Details of Proposed Increase

 

To maintain the reliability and quality of our water system, the Water District plans to introduce a Capital Improvement Addition of $10 per month. This increase will be effective beginning with the January 2026 billing cycle and will be included on your regular water bill. The funds collected from this increase will support crucial infrastructure projects, including:

 

• Replacement of aging pipelines

 

• Enhancements to water supply and quality

 

• Improvements to system reliability and efficiency

 

Opportunities for Community Input

 

We encourage all customers to share their comments and questions regarding the proposed Capital Improvement Addition. You may participate by attending the public hearing at the date, time, and location listed above. And submitting your comments in writing. They must be submitted in person or mailed to the district office at PO Box 618, Lucerne Valley, CA 92356. Please note that mailed comments must be received no later than Tuesday, December 16, 2025.
